
I’m Katie Powsey, founder of KP Life Coaching and creator of The Sustainable Performance Pathway and Success Without Guilt.
Before I became a coach, I worked in fast-paced environments within the property sector. On paper, everything looked successful. Behind the scenes, it was constant pressure, long hours, and a quiet belief that slowing down meant falling behind.
I know what it feels like to spin every plate, career, family, expectations, and still wonder why it never feels like enough.
That experience shaped everything I now teach and coach.
For years, I lived the same cycle, push hard, achieve, burn out, recover, repeat. It led to three months off work, a return to the same patterns, and eventually the decision to step away from a career I had worked hard to build as my health declined.
That choice affected more than me.
When we burn out, teams feel it. Pressure shifts. Work is redistributed. Morale and momentum are disrupted.
The cost is personal and organisational.
What I realised is that support often arrives too late, once someone is already in crisis.
My work focuses on what happens earlier: the patterns, expectations and behaviours that quietly build burnout long before it shows up on a sick note.
Sustainable performance is not about coping better. It is about preventing the cycle altogether.


I’m a wife and mum juggling school runs, football matches and dinner table chaos, and I care deeply about building a business that fits around life, not the other way round.
I’m a coffee lover, an early-morning thinker, and someone who finds clarity in movement, whether that’s a long coastal walk, a training challenge, or simply getting outside to reset.
I value discipline, but not at the expense of wellbeing.
Growth, but not at the cost of health.
Drive, without self-abandonment.
Honest conversations matter more to me than polished perfection.
This work isn’t theory.
It’s personal.
